In the event that the vehicle is not going to be ridden for a long period of time, such as during winter, or for any
other reason, special precautions requiring suitable knowledge, tools and equipment must be observed. For this
reason, Quadro recommends that these operations are performed by an authorised service centre. If this is not
possible, please follow the instructions provided below.

Clean the vehicle thoroughly and rest it on its centre stand on level ground, ensuring that it is sufficiently stable.
Release the parking brake using the lever in order to prevent any damage to the tilting mechanism as a result of
the tensions within the system. Turn the handlebar fully to the left, then rotate the ignition key to the lock
position and remove it from the switch.

Fill the fuel tank with the correct grade of unleaded fuel and add a fuel stabiliser, following the fuel
stabilisermanufacturer’s instructions.

1) Remove the battery following the instructions provided within the BATTERY section of this booklet.
2) Clean the exterior of the battery with a soft detergent and remove any sign of corrosion from the terminals
and the leads.
3) Store the battery in a safe place.
4) Once a month, recharge the battery to the value 1.2 A for between 5 to 10 hours
