• Start the engine indoors. Exhaust gases from the engine contain carbon monoxide and other toxic volatile
substances, which, if inhaled, my lead to death.
• Ride the vehicle indoors or in open areas lacking good ventilation/air circulation.
• Touch the engine or muffler when hot.
• Ride your vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Ride your vehicle if you are under 18 years of age or do not fulfil your local requirements.
• Use non original spare parts.
• Have unauthorised personnel performing maintenance or procedures not expressly described within this handbook.
• Carry out any maintenance operation while the engine is running.
• Perform operations or procedures which are described in the owner’s handbook.
• Pull away while your vehicle is still on its centre stand and, in any case, ensure that rear wheel does spin as it
comes into contact with the ground in order to avoid the loss of control of the vehicle.
• Adjust your rear-view mirrors while riding as this may lead to the loss of control of the vehicle.
