A. Pull vehicle back into centered position. Measure the distance from the rear lift point of hard top to rafter mounting
point (measurment # 2). Measure distance from rafter mounting board to front wall (measurment #3). If distance
to front wall is less than the distance needed to lift the hardtop the eye screw will need to be moved along the front
wall. Move until distance #2 is equal to distance #3.
STEP 5: ASSEMBLY OF 4-POINT QUADRATOP HARDTOP HOIST SYSTEM LIFT

NOTE: When distance 2 is much greater than 3 new
longer drop rope will need to be purchased.
A. Use stud finder to locate solid wood of top plate.
Drill a 7/32” hole into top plate of garage for
mounting welded screw eye. Use stud finder to insure
welded eye bolts is secured properly along top
header. Do not overtenghten. See proceedure and
warning from Pigtail lag screw installation into rafter
mounting board.
NOTE: If Distance to front wall is still too short, it is
possible to run the block and takle to the side of the
vehicle instead of lengthwise.
STEP 6: INSTALLING FRONT WALL WELDED EYE BOLT
