B. Plan to position hardtop above the vehicle with clearance to open garage door. If hoist is mounted too close to
garage door, there may not be clearance to open door. Mounted too far forward, the hardtop may not balance or
lower properly onto vehicle.

C. Correct location of mounting boards allows proper
cleance for lifting ropes. Lifting ropes should hange
perpendicular to the ceiling. Uneven rope spacing may
not allow for level / balanced lifting of hardtop.

span a minimum of three rafters.
