PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST

1.
The following items should be inspected and serviced by an experienced and trained technician during the scheduled maintenance of
the QLK-150 Wheelchair Docking System.

Clean all debris from under the base unit.

❏
Clean the latch mechanism with WD-40 then lubricate with light oil such as 3-in-1.
❏
❏
Inspect all cables for fraying. Replace any that have frayed.
❏
❏
Verify that all manual release systems are functioning properly.
❏
❏
Verify that the release solenoid is working properly.
❏
❏
Inspect micro switch for corrosion or damage. Replace any that have deformed or show corrosion.

Verify that all lights are working on the Dash Control Panel.
❏
❏
Verify that the warning Buzzer activates properly.
❏
❏
Verify that the Docking Bolt is not damaged or corroded. Replace if needed.

❏
Verify that all mounting bolts for the base unit and wheelchair interface bracket are tight.
❏
❏
Inspect all wiring harnesses for chaffing and replace if needed.
❏
❏
Verify that all seatbelt systems are not worn or frayed. Replace as needed.

❏
Check Docking Bolt adjustment where it enters guide channel and correct if necessary.

Any deficiencies shall be noted below and rectified before the QLK-150 Wheelchair Docking System is released to the consumer for
use.

If the repairing technician has any issues not covered by this document or is not clear on what corrective action needs to be taken, they
MUST consult the nearest Q’Straint® office listed on the back page of this manual.
