14. Determine mounting location for Shoulder Belt
Upper Anchorage (a) & Lower Retractor (C) – if
applicable (U)(V)(BB)(CC)
15. If applicable, Check location allows webbing to
come vertically out of the lower retractor to prevent
webbing from rubbing on the lower retractor cover as
it exists the retractor (Y)
16. For proper webbing movement, mounted lower
retractor MUST be 0° (zero degree) rotation with
respect to the vertical axis and MUST be 90°(degrees)
horizontal to ensure proper webbing movement (Z)

If the lower retractor is to be mounted
into track on the vehicle sidewall then we
recommended that an Occupant Restraint
with an ANTI-ROTATION BRACKET is
purchased. See Table 3.
17. Check wheelchair position allows lapbelt angles to
fall within the recommended Zones (EE) page 23.
