2. Optional: Set a chat username. 

Tip

You must specify a username when you use chat for the first time.

a. Click Your name.

b. Specify your chat username. 

Username requirements:

• Valid characters: A-Z, a-z, 0-9

• Valid special characters: Exclamation mark (!), At symbol (@), Number sign (#), Dollar sign ($),

Percentage (%), Circumflex (^), Ambersand (&), Asterisk (*), and Hyphen (-).

3. Click Set up your name to send messages or Enter your message.

4. Type your message.

5. Press Enter. 

The message is sent to other conference participants.

Optional: Click 

 to view chat history.
