The following maintenance procedures must be carried out to ensure reliable operation of the
QIAcuity:
Regular maintenance
Periodic maintenance
Optionally, these procedures may be performed to check and ensure the reliability of
operation of the QIAcuity.
Select the cleaning agent according to the objective of the cleaning procedure, the sample
material used, and the downstream assay.

When using ethanol or ethanol-based liquids on the QIAcuity, handle
such liquids carefully and in accordance with the required safety
regulations. If liquid has been spilled, wipe it off and allow flammable
vapors to disperse.
Before using any cleaning or decontamination methods except those recommended by the
manufacturer, users should check with the manufacturer that the proposed method will not
damage the equipment.
