Connecting the
RS485 Communication Cable
For one battery module:
1) There is a protection cover for the RS485 connector. Unscrew the cover and plug
one end of the RS485 communication cable to the RS485 connector. Tighten the
plastic screw nut which is set on the cable with a rotation wrench.
2) Connect the RS485 communication cable (E) from the left side of the BMS (III) to
the RS485 I communication port (II’) that is on the left side of the battery
module. The communication ports are marked in the following figures.

Connecting the CAN Communication Cable
It is required for the BMS to communicate with the inverter for proper operation.
Note that the CAN communication cable is shielded with steel tubes.
Refer to the installation diagram in section 4.5.1 on page 20.
2) After the charging cables and CAN
communication cable are correctly connected and
placed through the conduit, lock the terminal
box-small (J) and terminal box cover (K) with M4
screws (N).
1) Connect one end of the CAN communication
cable (D) to the CAN connector (VII) marked in red.
Tighten the cover set on the cable with a rotation
wrench (G).
The wire order of the communication cable is the same as the
RS485
