available, set the communication interface parameter according to the ap-

plication's conditions.

PROFIBUS-DP slave interface

The optional PROFIBUS-DP slave interface is available as a Sub-D 9-pin connector (female) and

is mounted at optional interface 1. The interface can be configured using the software tool
Sycon.NET from the company Hilscher mbH (http://www.hilscher.com/).

For further information on this interface, please refer to the corresponding

information on Hilscher cifX 90E fieldbus card and Sycon.NET software.

DC power connector

DC power connector

Plug in the DC power plug (see p. 36) to the DC power connector to supply power to the GN
unit.
