6.2 Completing a radio group
To end the learning mode of a radio group,
you have two options:
f
Wait 10 minutes (learning mode ends
automatically) or
f
Press the radio button briefly on any
device:
Signal LED “off”
f
The radio group is in activated.
Signal LEDs of all the radio
groups participants also
go out.
f
To test, perform a connection test (see
chapter 9.1 “Radio group connection
test“ on page 68).
7 Expanding a radio group
and learning mode
You can extend an existing radio group
by bringing the radio group in the learn-
ing mode. In this regard observe the
following:
(1) Press and hold the radio button on
any device using a split pin.
(2) Release the radio button as soon as
the LED goes out.

The radio group is in learning mode
for a maximum of 10 minutes.
(3) To add further devices, see steps (5)
and (6) in chapter 6.1 “Setting up the
radio group“ on page 64.
8 Setting up a shared
radio group
8.1 Connecting radio groups
To connect radio groups with another,
proceed as follows:
(1) Put the shared radio group into
learning mode.

See steps (1) and (2) in chapter
7 “Expanding a radio group and
learning mode“ on page 66.
(2) In the subgroups to be connected,
select the closest device to the
shared radio group.
(3) Using the split pin, press the radio
button on the selected device for
1 second.

The subgroup is connected to the
shared radio group.
(4) Repeat the process, if necessary, on
further subgroups.
(5) Finalise the shared radio group on a
device of the shared radio group.
