Installation and Operation Manual

2. Using modbus commands

PV Powered inverters provide basic modbus commands. The supported
commands are listed in the following table.

Retrieves the voltage, power and energy values from

the inverter.

Write (Preset) Single Register

Enables/disables the inverter.

Return Slave ID

Returns a text string containing the ID number of the

inverter.

Each of the following command sections contain two tables. The first table describes the
format of a modbus command request while the second table contains the format of the
command’s response.
