CAUTION! Should a person come in contact with either the
pump or the pumped medium, for example on construction
sites, in agriculture etc, an earth leakage detector (ELCB)
must be used. When pumps are used in ponds, fountains,
beaches etc, a safe distance of 20 m should be maintained between
the pump and people in the water. The pump must not be used in
swimming pools. Special regulations apply for swimming pools.
Limitations
Immersion depth: up to 20 m (65 ft). Liquid temperature: up to 40°C (105°F).

F = For discharge bracket
C = Channel impeller
T = Dry installation
V = Vortex impeller
P = Transportable
Motor
3-phase squirrel-cage induction motor for 50 Hz. Degree of protection IP 68.
Motor protection
The stator is equipped with built-in temperature sensors. The temperature
sensors are connected in series and open at 140°C.
Cooling system
Dry installed pumps are equipped with an internal cooling system to cool the
motor unit. When required portable and wet installed pumps can also be
equipped with an internal cooling system. The function of the internal cooling
system: An impeller is mounted on the shaft between the primary and the
secondary seal. The impeller circulates the cooling media through channels
in the cooling jacket which surrounds the motor unit. The cooling media
continues down to the lower seal housing where it is cooled by the pumped
media. Water is used as coolant.
Handling
Moisture sensor
The pumpmotor is supplied with a moisture sensor which will be situated in
the lower part of the motor compartment. The control cable for the sensor is
marked Di. The control cable is connected to a relay that is activated by a
decrease in resistance to ground. A normal level for alarm is 30 Kohm (max
voltage 24 V 50-60 Hz). The alarm should be wired to stop motor.
Electric cable
10 m ( 30 ft) of HO7RN-F or equivalent cable. If the cable is longer, the
voltage drop must be taken into account.
For dimensions, see the table on page 18 (at the end of the manual).

The starting and operating instructions are applicable to the electric
submersible waste water pumps specified on the cover. The pumps are
intended for pumping waste water, untreated or clean water, and slurries.
The pumps have an approval with designition Eex d IIB T4 and can be used
in an explosive or flammable environment.
The manufacturer guarantees that a new pump will not emit airborne noise in
excess of 70 dB(A) during normal operation (when submerged or half-
submerged). The corresponding value for the pump in a dry installation is a
maximum of 75 dB(A).
The following points must be fulfilled:
1. The temperature sensors must be connected with a disconnecting
function in the control panel.
2. If a balltype float switch is used, it must be connected in intrinsically safe
system, see EN 500 20.
3. Dismantling and repair of explosionproof motors may only be carried out
by authorized workshop.

CAUTION! The pump can be used in zone 1 & 2 and for
gases and mixtures according EN 50 014 Subdivision A &
B. The user of the motor shall provide an automatic device
to ensure electrical disconnection in the event of moisture
(with relay) or thermal switches operating
CAUTION!
Before lifting the pump, check the condition of the lifting
handle and make sure that its screws are securely tightened.
After a longer period of storage, the pump must be inspected and the
impeller must be rotated by hand before the pump is taken into operation.
Check the seals and cable entry particularly carefully.
The pump can be transported and stored either vertically or horizontally.
Make sure that it is securely lashed and cannot roll.
CAUTION!
Always lift the pump by the lifting handle - never by the
motor cable or hose.
NOTE!
Always protect the cable end so that no moisture will penetrate into
the cable. Water could otherwise seep into the terminal
compartment or into the motor through the cable.
CAUTION!
The pump must always rest on a firm surface so that it will
not overturn. This applies to all handling, transport, testing
and installation.
CAUTION!
The pump must not be run if it has been partially
dismantled.
