Frequency adjustment knob
Bandwidth
This knob has an action depending on the type of filter used:
Bell: The higher this setting, the narrower the bandwidth. As said before, this setting also
has an influence on the effective gain of the filter. The highest values of gain (+20dB) are
reached when the Bandwidth parameter is set to its maximum (narrowest).
Shelf: As explained at the beginning of this manual, this mode recreates the classic shape
of the shelves inherited from Pultec EQs. With the bandwidth set to minimum, the filter
behaves like a classic shelving filter. The more you increase the bandwidth, the more you
deepen the effect of the reciprocal bell close to the shelving filter. The curves of these
filters are shown in the section "Pulsar Massive's filtering forms".
