4.6 Connections

GROUP OUT

Via the GROUP OUT sockets, you can connect the group signal with a headphones amplifier, e.g. for the
background singers. You can adjust the signal level via the group fader.

For recording, connect your tape recorder or cassette deck to the GROUP OUT sockets. If you are using low
level equipment, you can switch the output level from +4 dBu to -10 dBV via internal jumpers.

AUX SEND/RETURN

Connect your effectors or monitor system/zone system with the AUX SEND sockets.

Signal returns from the effector can be inserted via the AUX RETURN sockets. The signal level of the AUX
RETURN sockets can be adjusted via the Return controls.

MASTER INSERT

This insert can be used for compressor/limiter, equalizers or other sound effectors modifying the original
signal completely.

This insert can also be used for recording. Connect your tape recorder or cassette deck. The output level will
not be influenced by the MASTER fader.

MASTER OUT

Connect the main output either via the balanced XLR plugs providing an output level of up to +25 dBu.

MASTER B OUT

Connect the MASTER B OUT via a balanced XLR plug providing an output level of up to +22 dBu. This
MASTER B output can be controlled via a separate pot and can be used for controlling the Center Clust in
an LCR installation. If there is no Center Clust, this output can be used for connecting an active speaker
system or an additional amplifier for a control room or for video recordings or for connecting a subwoofer.
The MASTER B OUT-signal can be controlled via the MASTER B control.

SPEAKERS

Via the SPEAKERS sockets, you can either connect active speaker systems or an additional amplifier for a
separate control room/monitor system via two unbalanced jack plugs (left & right). These sockets provide an
output level of up to +21 dBu.

TAPE

You can insert the tape signal via the TAPE sockets. You can adjust the signal level via the TAPE control.
