2.8 INSTALLING THE PELLET CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT (PELLET CPU)
Different locations can be chosen to install the pellet central processing unit (Pellet CPU). First, choose the location
to install the pellet central processing unit (Pellet CPU). It will be located on the left or right side of the furnace.Then,
you must choose to install the pellet central processing unit (Pellet CPU) directly on the hopper (option #1) or on the
bracket. The bracket will need to be secured to the hopper (option #2). Remove the access panel to the main control
board in order to connect the main control board to the pellet central processing unit (Pellet CPU) using the black
wire with white stripes and the white wire with black stripes (you will need to put the access panel back in place
later). Both black wires with white stripes must connect to the “WOOD DMPR” port on the pellet central processing
unit (Pellet CPU) whereas the white wires with black stripes must connect to the “OUTPUT 5” port. In order to hook
up your furnace with electricity, you must connect the main control board and the pellet central processing unit
(Pellet CPU) to a 115V electricity source (use a 14 ga. cable). Finally, connect the blower and the thermostat to the
pellet central processing unit (Pellet CPU). Refer to electric diagram for connection details.
