Program structure

The VIBSCANNER application program is graphic-oriented
and menu-driven.

Graphic-oriented

a) The measurement tasks are started via corresponding

icons on the screen.

b) In the basic version the measurement tasks are stored in

two screens that are opened via the screen icon

The

screen contains measurement tasks for overall

vibration and other important variables (see page 16).

The

screen contains measurement tasks for overall

vibration that are optimized for specific machine types
and RPM ranges. The first line depicts the machine types
and the left column defines the RPM range (see page
34).

c) A corresponding selection screen exists for the optional

program modules (details of the optional modules are
given in the ‘VIBSCANNER - FFT analysis and balancing’
operating manual - VIB 9.664.G).
