Create a new pool
To create a new storage pool, type in a name for the new pool and select one or more OSD in the list, then click
the
Add
button. The new pool appears listed in the Pool Management menu.
Sort pools
Listed pools can be sorted by name, health status, replication number or quota size. Click the up/down pointers
at the top of each column to sort the list according to preference.
The
replication number
indicates the number of nodes to replicate (i.e. create a copy) across. For a two-node
cluster, the replication number can be 2 (recommended), or 1. For a three-node cluster, up to 3 replicas are
allowed. The maximum is 3 for a cluster of three or more nodes.
If you are configuring a single machine (i.e. no cluster), you must set the replication number to 1.
Search
The search function is used to find specific user accounts. Type the the full or partial user ID, display name, or
email address into the
Search
field and press
Enter
.
Control number of records displayed
Select from the
Show <#>
entries drop-down menu to display 1
0, 25, 50
, or
100
records per page.
Delete an existing pool
To remove a previously created pool, select the pool in the list in the Pool Management menu, then click the
Delete Selected Pool
button to permanently remove a storage pool.
