INSTALLING THE WALL MOUNT BRACKET
1.
Determine where you want your new Prolux 2.0 Garage Vacuum to be. Test fit it to make sure
there won’t be any clearance issues, and that the hose will reach everything you want it to.
2.
Find a stud nearest to where you want to hang your vacuum. We recommend using a stud finder for
this.
3.
Hold the Wall Mount Bracket up to the wall, lining up two screw holes with the stud. Mark the
location of the holes on the wall with a pencil.
4.
Using a
⅛
” drill bit, drill a pilot hole for the mounting screws going into the stud.
5.
Use a
⅜
” drill bit to make a hole for the other two screws that are going into the drywall. Note: If
you are mounting the vacuum to a surface other than drywall, you’ll have to supply your own
mounting hardware.
6.
Hammer the drywall plugs into the
⅜
” holes, and line the Wall Mount Bracket up with the holes
you just drilled.
7.
Put the screws in the holes and tighten them down, making sure they go all the way in, and the
bracket is secured to the wall. Be careful not to strip the screws!
INSTALLING THE HOSE HANGER:
1.
Find another stud where you want to install your Hose Hanger.
2.
Hold the Hose Hanger up to the wall and mark the location of the screw holes.
3.
Drill
⅛
” pilot holes for the screws.
4.
Put the Hose Hanger back on the wall, insert the screws, and tighten them down until it’s secure.
