be
used
in
cold
chambers
(refrigeration,
preservation
or
freezing
depending
on
models)
with
a
ceiling
fixture.
Their
uses
are
commercial
or
industrial
depending
on
the
models:
Commercial
Application:
BP/BN,
CAN/CAE/CAB,
C/CD/CB.

Application:
MISTRAL
MI/MIE/MIB,
CR/CB,
CRM/CBM.

painted
or
pre-glazed
galvanised
sheet
metal
depending
on
model.

tray
on
all
models.
COIL
The
coolers
are
fitted
with
coil
with
profiled
aluminium
fins
and
copper
tubes.
Refrigeration
joints
to
be
welded.
VENTILATION

with
one
or
several
helicoids
fans.
The
motors
are
single

-
INSTALLATION
FITTING
The
unit
must
only
be
fitted
to
the
ceiling
using
galvanised
steel
bars
on
all
supporting
bars.
The
weight
borne
by
the
beams
of
the
building
or
cold
chamber
itself
must
be
examined
with
the
carpenter
or
chamber
supplier.
The
weight
load
to
be
used
for
calculation
should
include
the
presence
of
frost,
notably
at
low
temperatures.
In
negative
cold
chambers,
1
mm
of
frost
should
be
taken
into
account
on
the
entire
exchange
surface.
INSTALLATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
Take
into
account
air
flows
for
the
installation
of
coolers
in
the
cold
chamber.
Avoid
any
immediate
obstacles
to
the
air
throw
(posts,
storage
rack,
palettes
and
merchandise...).
If
installed
above
a
door,
care
should
be
taken
to
avoid
the
entry
of
outside
air
through
the
doors,
by
using
strip
curtains
or
a
refrigerated
porch.
If
the
cooler
is
situated
over
3m
above
the
liquid
tank
and/or
very
far
away,
if
the
liquid
is
not
cool
enough
or
not
cool,
it
is
possible
for
the
expansion
valve
to
be
supplied
by
gas
flash.
In
these
conditions,
the
cooler
will
not
provide
the
performance
levels
given.
It
is
therefore
necessary
to
sub-cool
the
liquid:
-
with
a
steam
liquid
exchanger,
except
for
R417A/R422A,
-
With
a
plate
sub-cooler
exchanger
for
R417A/R422A
(10
K
is
sufficient).
INSTALLATION
SPACE
Space
must
be
allowed
around
the
cooler.
1.
For
accessibility
purposes:
-
side
door
openings:
at
least
the
width
of
the
unit,
-
removal
of
heaters:
at
least
half
the
length
of
the
unit,
on
collectors
side.
2.
For
air
recycling
purposes
When
several
units
are
installed
which
defrost
alternatively
rather
than
simultaneously,
the
distance
between
two
coolers
must
be
at
lease
equal
to
the
length
of
an
cooler.
REFRIGERATION
NETWORK
CONNECTION
General
information
B
EFORE ANY WORK IS DONE ON THE REFRIGERATION CIRCUIT
,
THE HOLDING CHARGE MUST BE
REMOVED
(NITROGEN).
The
piping
used
(copper
or
steel)
must
be
of
refrigeration
quality
in
accordance
with
PED
97/23/EC.
All
piping
must
be
correctly
supported
and
fixed
and
should
in
no
case
be
allowed
to
restrict
the
piping
of
the
unit.
Connection
to
suction
The
pipe
diameters
must
be
determined
in
advance
to
ensure
correct
oil
return
and
should
not
be
based
on
the
diameters
of
the
collector
suction
valves.
The
piping
should
always
fall
towards
the
unit,
never
away.
For
double
models,
the
link
between
the
two
coils
should
made
on-site.
A
return
must
always
be
provided
at
the
cooler
output
with
a
siphon
and
backflow.
