• Close the ProTechT water-resistant marine housing’s door.

• Using the remote control, point it directly at the clear window on the front of the Pro-
TechT water-resistant marine housing. Use the power button on the remote control
to turn your XM Radio on and then adjust it as necessary.
• Make sure that your XM Radio is activated. If you need to activate your XM radio, go
to www.siriusxm.com/activatenow , or call 1-866-635-2349 .
• Turn on the boat stereo and tune to an FM channel .
• Tune your XM Radio to the same FM channel. You should hear the XM audio. If neces-
sary, adjust the boat stereo volume control as needed.
Note:
If your Radio came with Power Connect, you will also need to follow the in-
structions in the section titled “Using the Vehicle Dock From the Universal Xpress Car
Kit” in the User Guide for your XM Radio to configure your XM Radio to work correctly
with the XM FM Direct Adapter.
• If you connected your ProTechT water-resistant marine housing audio output to
your boat’s stereo’s AUX input with the 3.5-mm-to-3.5-mm audio cable, then select
the AUX input on your boat’s stereo and adjust the boat’s stereo volume control as
needed.
