ring gear from
the carrier.

Inspect the main differential
bearings for damage. Refer

for Drive Axle Components.
Repair the carrier
or install a
remanufactured
carrier.

Inspect the main
differential case, side gears
and spider for damage.

Repair the carrier
or install a
remanufactured
carrier.

Inspect the drive pinion,
inner drive pinion bearing
and spigot bearing for damage.

If damaged, repair the
input shaft, inter-axle

shaft end play to
the correct
specification.
