TIME

: Acceptable entries range between INFINITE and 240 minutes. (See “Note”

below.) The display blinks to indicate that it is awaiting a selection. Use the

 and

keys to change the selection. To continue in Setup mode, press ENTER.

Note

: The Club manager has the ability to set a time limit on the length of a

workout. Refer to

Club Information on page 23. (The Weight Loss and Cross

Country programs have a preset time limit so a WORKOUT TIME prompt does
not occur when a user chooses WTLS or XCTR.)

WEIGHT

: Acceptable entries range from 1 through 999 (pounds or kilograms). A

user can change the blinking number using the

 and

 keys or accept the

displayed number (and continue in Setup mode) by pressing ENTER.

Important

: A number that reflects the user’s actual weight must be entered since

the calorie count and several other calculations are based on the weight entry.

AGE

: Acceptable entries range from 1 to 99. Change the blinking number using

the

 and

keys or accept the displayed number by pressing ENTER. Initially,

the  number zero appears on the display. Once the

 key is pressed the number

jumps to 35.

Important

: An age entry is required if a user wants to use the heart rate interac-

tive capabilities of the treadmill. Refer to QUICKSTART on page 34.

THE SETUP MODE AND THE QUICKSTART FEATURE

The QuickStart feature can be pressed any time during the Setup prompts. See
the table below.

Note

: Default values apply if QUICKSTART is pressed while the Precor banner is

displayed. Refer to

QUICKSTART on page 34.

 The  following  occurs:

Bypass the remaining Setup prompts and the running belt
begins moving after a three second countdown. The Manual
program appears and default values apply.

The profile associated with the program appears on the right
side of the display.

The information that appears on the display becomes the work-
out time for the program. A user can change the display using
the

 or

 keys. Refer to

Club Information on page 23.

The weight (1 through 999) that appears on the display
becomes the user’s designated weight that the C936i uses to
compute various calculations.
