Where the unit is to be located in a path or paved area, the top of the

cover shall be installed
just above the finished height of the surrounding graded pavement, sufficient to prevent ponding
and ingress of surface water. If not located in a path or paved area, a minimum height of 75mm
shall be maintained between the top of the

grO
and the surrounding ground.

To provide entry of the inlet pipe, the plumber makes a hole into the
H
2
grO
housing with a hole saw
and installs a rubber grommet to make a waterproof seal. The inlet pipe may be positioned in either
the back or side wall, opposite the diversion valve and above the filter screen. The height of the
holes will be dependent on the position of the pipe and the fall required from the fixture. The hole
size required is branded on each grommet.
