grO – Greywater for Gardens

is defined as a disconnector gully trap in accordance with

AS/NZS 3500.2. It adds no additional load to the drain and therefore does not have a fixture
unit rating.

b.

pump data

Maximum pump operating head is seven metres.
Pump flow rate is 140Lpm at two metres head
reducing to 0Lpm at seven metres. Maximum
pump operating temperature is 50ºC.

electrical connections

Important! All electrical installation works must be undertaken by an appropriately licensed
electrical contractor. Electrical wiring shall be in accordance with AS/NZS 3000.

is supplied fitted with electrical cables.

The manual model is supplied with:

• 2.5 metres of electrical supply cable (orange)

The automatic model is supplied with:

• 2.5 metres of electrical supply cable (black)
• 1.5 metres of electrical control cable (white)

• A fuse is fitted within the electrical enclosure inside the

housing. This fuse protects the

pump. If the fuse fails, replace it with a 20x5mm, 6.3 Amp item. If replacement fuse blows, there

could be a fault with the pump or power supply –

• Short circuiting the Red and Black wire on the control cable will damage the electronic unit.

BeFOre

connecting system to mains supply, connect wiring to the Controller and Extra

Room Switches (where fitted) and ensure they are properly wall-mounted. A heatshrink sheath

is supplied on the

wire on the control cable as protection until the wire is properly

connected into an insulated terminal.

• Ensure control cable between the

, Controller and the Extra Room Switch (where fitted) is

a security/irrigation control cable with a minimum of four cores x 0.5mm²

• Do not connect an Extra Room Switch directly to the

H

2

grO

or the unit will be damaged. The

Extra Room Switch must only be connected to the Controller to function correctly.
