12.

Never

cover the opening in the lid from which the steam escapes or the ventilation slots on the back of the device.

13.

NEVER

 use the device outdoors.

14.

NEVER

use the device if the power cord or plug is damaged. If the device malfunctions during operation, immediately pull the plug from the mains.

15.

NEVER

ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THE DEVICE YOURSELF. Contact Customer Service (contact information can be found on the back of this manual).

16.  UNPLUG THE DEVICE if you are no longer using it or want to clean it. Wait for the device to cool completely before adding or removing parts.

17.

NEVER

immerse the base unit or the hot air lid in water. If the device falls into or is accidentally immersed in water, pull the plug from the mains

immediately! Under no circumstances should you touch the water if the device falls into it. The power cord and plug must never be immersed in water

or other liquids, nor rinsed in water.

18.  To reduce the risk of burns, only ever use replacement parts specifically recommended by the manufacturer.

19.

NEVER

place cookware or the inner pot on a hotplate when empty. This can damage the inner pot.

20.

NEVER

put the inner pot in the microwave or oven. This can cause electric sparks or a fire, and damage the appliance and cookware.

21.

NEVER

leave the appliance and the inner pot unattended. This will prevent potential injury to children and the risk of a fire breaking out.

22.

ALWAYS

supervise children when they are in the vicinity of the cookware and pots to prevent injuries.

23.

NEVER

handle the cookware and pots without pot holders or gloves, especially if you are using the inner pot in the appliance. Always use oven

gloves, as the handles of the inner pot get very hot.

24.  Be careful when using the glass lid. As with all glassware that is used for cooking, it can crack if it is exposed to sudden changes in temperature or if

it falls or hits against a hard object.

25.  If the glass lid is cracked, chipped or damaged in any way, DO NOT REUSE it.

26.

NEVER

attempt to repair any cookware that is damaged.

27.  This product is only suitable for use in private households. It is NOT suitable for commercial use or camping activities.

28.  NEVER use cooking sprays that contain aerosols. Such sprays settle on cookware and are difficult to remove afterwards, while reducing the

effectiveness of the anti-stick coating.

29.  This appliance is not suitable for deep-frying food. Extreme caution should be exercised when moving the device while it contains hot liquid or oil.

30.  Use only the containers and parts supplied to avoid damage to the device.

31.  Never place or pour food or liquids directly into the base unit.

32.  Do not place any metal objects in or on the base unit. Metal can activate the induction plates. Never place your hands on the induction plates while

they are hot. These store heat, and can cause burns.

33.  Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handles and knobs.

34.  Risk of electric shock. Only cook in removable containers. Always operate the base device with the inner pot inserted.

35.  To switch off the device, first switch off with the corresponding switch and then pull the plug from the mains socket.

36.  Oversized food or metal utensils/containers should not be placed in the appliance, as they can increase the risk of fire or electric shock.

37.  If the device is covered with flammable material while it is in operation, this can result in a fire. This includes curtains, cloth items, and similar fabrics

and objects. Do not place any objects on the device while it is in operation.

38.  Never clean the device with a metal scouring pad. Particles can become detached from the scouring pad, which can increase the risk of electric

shock when they come in contact with electrical parts.

39.  Extreme caution is required when using containers made from materials other than metal or glass.

40.  Do not place any of the following materials on top of or inside the appliance: paper, cardboard, plastic, or similar materials.

41.  Only store accessories supplied with the device along with the device when you are not using it.

42.  Press „Stop“ to turn off the device.

WARNING: Spilled food can cause severe burns.

WARNING: Always keep the power cord out of the reach of children.

WARNING: Never use the device in combination with an extension cord.

43.  Before placing the appliance on your worktop or counter, refer to the recommendations of the worktop manufacturer. Some manufacturers

recommend placing a trivet or other heat protection implement under the appliance in order to avoid damage to the work surface. In cases of

uncertainty, we recommend using a trivet.

44.  This is appliance not intended to be operated using an external timer or separate remote-control system.

45.  The appliance must not be immersed.

WARNING

•  Only ever operate the device on a horizontal surface that is stable and non-flammable.
