User Defined Scan List (UDSL)

Pre-programmed (optionally user editable) list of scanned
groups.

user profile

User profiles are pre-set combinations of alerts and
settings on a PowerTrunk radio designed to match the
user's circumstances or environment. If the User Profiles
feature has been customised it allows you to switch easily
between user profiles. When a user profile is selected, an
icon is displayed on the status line at the top right of the
display to indicate which user profile is active. (S)

WAP

Wireless Application Protocol. sf.

whisper mode

A customisable feature on a PowerTrunk radio which
adjusts the sensitivity of the microphone to allow the user
to whisper verbal communications during covert
operations. (S)
