When positioning the dashcam, ensure that:

you have a clear view of the driver's upper body 

•

 

you have a clear view of the road 

•

 

the dashcam doesn't obstruct the driver's field of vision 

•

 

the dashcam has a direct line of sight to the sky

Remove the adhesive tape cover and mount the dashcam onto the windshield.
