Operation method of auto‑cruise
Notes about auto‑cruise
In being as follows, it cancels auto‑cruise compulsorily for safety. Moreover, the
speed for resume (P22) is eliminated from a memory.
・When the difference of an actual vehicle speed and a goal rate becomes 20 km/h
or more
・When an actual vehicle speed is less than 30 km/h during auto‑cruise
Because of safety, when speed is 30 km/h or less, auto‑cruise cannot be started.
Please start auto‑cruise, where an accelerator is kept constant as much as possible.
If auto‑cruise is started during acceleration etc., there is a possibility that auto‑
cruise may not be carried out at arbitrary speed, or an error may become large.
Please do not use an auto‑cruise function in the situation where the distance between
two cars cannot fully be maintained. There is a possibility of becoming a cause of a
rear‑end collision.
There is no function which carries out the automatic control of the brake.
Please adjust the speed by the brake operation of a driver on the downward slope which
cannot maintain speed only by engine braking.
Neither a freeze nor the time of snow coverage should use an auto‑cruise function in
the situation where a road surface slips easily. There is a possibility that a tire may slip.
Please do not use a shift as Nutral range during auto‑cruise. There is a possibility of
accelerating suddenly if it returns to Drive range after that.
If speed is not learned or it is made to learn with the speed which was widely different
from 60 km/h, there is a possibility that the auto‑cruise forcible release for the
accuracy of auto‑cruise being not only bad but safety may not operate.
Please learn speed correctly according to P18.
The auto‑cruise function of this product is a function for reducing the burden to which
the automatic control of the accelerator is carried out on a high‑speed way etc., a
vehicle speed is kept constant, and a driver adjusts speed.
There is no function which detects road situations, such as irregular bound of traffic
situations, such as confusion condition of a road and the distance between two cars, a
person, running out of vehicles, etc., a curve of a road, and a falling object, and others.
Please be careful about a nap and looking aside while driving, and carry out operation
which followed the traffic regulation.
