1.8.1. UV LAMP (OPTION)
Special UV lamp generates ultraviolet UV-C radiation of wavelength 253.7 nm, neutralising bacteria, viruses
and other primitive organisms, halting their reproduction at the same time.
Advantages of ultraviolet UV-C radiation:
- provides clean, fresh and clear water
- safely and efficiently disinfects water
- controls formation of mould, bacteria and algae
- limits the use of chlorine and other chemicals up to 80%
- prevents the chlorine smell as well as skin and eye irritation (red eyes)
- it is more environmentally friendly than traditional methods
Ozonation and the UV lamp work only during filtration.
1.9. GENESIS SPA BATHTUB FILTRATION SYSTEM
The SPA GENESIS filtration system includes the following elements:
– sand filter F400 (sand filter used in the Genesis bathtub has filter surface of approx. 0.13 m
2
)
– filtration/massage pump,
– water aspirator,
– PVC pipes and fittings.
Six-function valve
allows operation of a sand filter and controlling its operation.
During operation, the valve is set in the filtration position. By setting the valve in the
right position, various service actions are performed at the filter, such as filter flushing
(cleaning sand deposits) and circulation (water movement skipping the filter tank in
order to force quick circulation in the pipeline).
In order to change the sand filter level valve position, you have to DISABLE the filtration
circulation pump.
