Maintenance of the filter is limited to periodic
cleaning of sand deposit (on average, once a
week or when the pressure loss at the filter
manometer crosses 0.3 bar).
To do so, disable the filtration pump, set the
six-function valve lever in the
”RÜCKSPÜLEN,
BACKWASH, LAVAGE, LAVADO”
position, open
calve no. 1 (it is closed in the picture) and
close valves no. 2 and 3 (open in the picture)
and close drainage valves no 4 (closed in the
picture), start the filtration pump. Observe the
water cleanness in the “eye”. After cleaning
the filter and stopping the filtration pump,
set the valve in the
”NACHSPÜLEN, RINSE,
FILTRE-EGOUT, ENJUAGUE”
setting and restart
the filtration pump in order to settle the sand
deposit. In order to empty the bathtub from
water, just set the lever in the
“ENTLEEREN,
WASTE, EGOUT, DESAGÜE”
position. In order to
fill the bathtub with water, close valves no. 4.
Before starting the filtration pump, return to the
precious setting of valves no 1 (close), no 2
and 3 (open).
Please remember to supply fresh water to the bathtub from time to time (approx. 15 l/person).
Maintenance of the filtration pump
The filtration pump should be cleaned depending on its usage. Contamination gathers in the pump basket.
In order to clean the filtration basket, disassemble the filtration pump cover and remove contamination.
1.10. DISINFECTION
In the Genesis SPA bathtub, disinfection is based on ozonation. Ozonation works during filtration. Additionally,
a START SET is attached to the bathtub to correct pH and disinfect using the active oxygen method, described
in point 1.11.
1.11. WATER MEASUREMENT AND TREATMENT PREPARATION SET
Before the first bath and in accordance to the use frequency (at least once every 2
weeks) pH needs to be measured in the water in Genesis SPA using the attached
Dinofresh/pH tester!!!
pH value measurement:
• Flush and fill the test vessel (up to the 10 ml marking) with water intended for tests.
• Put one tablet of PHENOLRED in the water sample vessel and close with a plug.
• Shake to help the tablet dissolve.
• Perform colour comparison of a test solution with colours in the left hand side column and read the pH value
in controlled water.
• All pH values below 6.8 cause yellow colouration.
• All pH values above 8.2 cause red colouration.
• Ideal value: 7.2 - 7.6
