Additionally, it is required to perform bathtub equalising connections using a terminal present on the
bathtub frame. The minimum cross-section of the equalising line is 4mm

.
All electrical connection works should be performed by an authorised electrician.
For security reasons, from time to time, an efficiency test of the anti-shock security
measure should be performed by pressing the TEST button on the residual current
switch. If the power supply is not immediately disabled after pressing the button, the
bathtub should be immediately disconnected manually and a specialist should be
called. The SPA bathtub should not be used if the protection measures do not work
correctly.
To prevent activation of bathtub without water, disconnect electrical power supply using the manual mechanism
mentioned above.
The bathtub may be connected to the water and sewage network permanently, it is
also possible to fill and empty the bathtub using flexible hoses disconnected after
these operations. The flexible piping of the bathtub includes a tee with a half-inch
connection for filling the bathtub via the hydromassage jets.

Genesis is also equipped with a drainage jet which makes it possible to empty the
bathtub via a connected garden hose ended with a valve with a

socket.
It is recommended to connect the bathtub permanently to the sewage system due
to the possibility of water overflowing via the emergency overflow hole.
2.5. CONNECTING THE EARTHING CONDUCTOR
To ensure correct operation of the residual current switch and the device itself, it
is necessary to install the earthing line with a minimum cross-section of 2.5 mm².
Connect the line to the frame in a place visible in the picture besides this text.

2.6. CONNECTING TO THE POWER SUPPLY NETWORK
Bathtubs, as I protection class devices, need to be connected permanently to the electrical system (type
TN-S) via a hermetic box with IP class X5. It is recommended to install the terminal box in area I (above the
bathtub) neat other bathtub electrical devices (over 20 cm above the floor).
Connecting the bathtub using a plug is unacceptable.
Area 0 is the area belonging to the surface of the Genesis SPA bathtub.
Area 1 is an area delimited by Area 0 and reaches the height of 2.25 m above the floor. Area 2 is an area
reaching 0.6 m outside Area 1, up to the height of 2.25 m above the floor. Area 3 is an area reaching 2.4 m
outside Area 2, up to the height of 2.25 m above the floor.
