5 Troubleshooting

5.2

Problems with the Interferometer

No light is

emitted

If no light is being emitted from the interferometer, please check if the supply

cable (Supply) between the controller and the interferometer has been

installed and secured correctly.

Problems with

the piezo

Set the measurement distance (approx. 40 mm), by slowly changing the

distance between the interferometer and the object until the interferences are

visible in the software. If you now move the piezo position in the software and

the interference pattern is not changing, please check the following:
1. Has the piezo cable (Piezo) between the controller and the interferometer

been installed and secured correctly with the screws on the plug?

2. Has the piezo control cable (Piezo Control) between the PC and the

controller been installed and secured correctly?
