Using BDAB with PC
BDAB enables information exchange with WINDOWS running PC. Operation procedure of
working with PC is described in Help file of the user program.
Do the following to work with BDAB in PC communication mode:
- install user program from the supplied CD onto the user PC;
- connect BDAB to PC by USB-cable;
- start eh user program;
- PC will take control over BDAB.
Procedure of working with the user program is described in Help file or in the comments.
9 Technical maintenance
Technical maintenance of BDAB represents preventive maintenance.
Preventive maintenance includes external examination, dust removal and deactivation (if
radioactive dust gets on the BDAB case). To deactivate the case, wipe it with soft cloth wetted with
ethyl alcohol. Ethyl alcohol consumption for BDAB deactivation is 70 ml.

11 Disposal
BDAB poses no hazard for life, health and environment; hence it can be disposed according
in a regular way.
No information on contents of the precious metals in BDAB is given since their fine weight is
below the values stated in the standard of the manufacturing country.
