Troubleshooting

! If you have any problems with this GPS,
do
not
return to the retailer.
Follow the troubleshooting steps below.
If you think something may be wrong with the system:
•
Immediately turn off the power.
•
Disconnect the power, remove the battery, and make sure that there is
no smoke nor extreme heat.
•
Find the problem in the troubleshooting table below, then follow the
solution steps.
•
Never try to repair the system by yourself, because it’s dangerous to
open the system, and you can hurt yourself and damage the system.

The disc cover is not closed.
Close the disc cover.
There isn’t a disc in the player.
Put a disc in to the player.
The disc was not inserted the
right way.
Put the disc in with the label
side up.
The disc is dirty or warped.
Clean or change the disc.
The player's region code isn’t
the same as the region code of
DVD.
Make sure that the DVD’s
region code is the same as the
player’s region code
(Region 1).
The player cannot
play.
There is water or condensation
on the lens.
Remove the disc and keep the
player on for at least two hours.
The sound connections are not
correct.
Plug the sound connections in
correctly.
The external speakers aren’t
turned on.
Turn on the speakers.
The sound setup of the DVD
disc isn’t correct.
Set up the DVD sound
correctly. Check settings in the
DVD player and in the DVD’s
own audio setup menu.
There is no sound.
The disc is dirty or warped.
Clean or change the disc.
The display is turned off or not
in the correct video mode.
Turn on the display and choose
the correct video mode.
There is no picture.
The video connection isn’t
correct.
Plug the video connections in
correctly.
