10. Enter the time for the Relay to begin, then press YES.
Or, just press YES to begin transmission now. Press
NO to return to Ready Mode.
The document(s) is scanned to
memory and is automatically
sent at the time(s) specified (or
immediately if no time was
specified).
NOTES:
1.
The time you enter is when your machine will start the Relay sequence.
Once the document is received completely at the Relay Station, it is Relayed
immediately. You cannot specify the Relay time to a final destination.
2.
All Speed Dial numbers and One Touch Keys specified in Step #5 must have
been pre-programmed as Relay Stations when storing Speed Dial numbers.
If a Speed Dial number or One Touch Key is entered in Step #5, and it has
not been pre-designated as a Relay Station, the display will read “#XXX: NOT
A RELAY STATION.”

If you make a mistake while entering any number from the Keypad, press NO
to backspace and erase incorrect digits or use the Cursor Direction Keys to
move the cursor to the incorrect digit. When the cursor is at the point of
error, simply enter the correct digit.
6.3.4 Dual Node Relays From Your Unit
You can perform a Dual Node Relay through a Pitney Bowes model with a
compatible Relay feature to final destinations by one of the following methods:
A. Enter a Dual Node Relay programmable AutoDial job.
B. Program a P-Key for a Dual Node Relay routine. Once you have
selected the appropriate P-Key to be programmed, follow the same
procedures as outlined for entering a Dual Node Relay programmable
AutoDial job below. This establishes a regular Relay job that can be
easily repeated by placing a document in the Feeder and pressing the
appropriate P-Key.
C. Follow DTMF dialing procedures. This is commonly referred to as a
Touch Tone
and can be accomplished using the Numeric Keypad on your
2030 Series. Normally, you would only use this procedure if originating the
Relay from a non-Pitney Bowes fax machine or a Pitney Bowes fax machine
that does not support the Relay feature.
