4.1.9 Setting the Feed Path of the Ink Ribbon
Ink ribbon creases can lead to print image errors. Ink ribbon deflection can be adjusted so
as to prevent creases. See also "Setting the Head Locking System" on page 4-7.

ink ribbon • Read current setting on the scale (1) and record, if necessary.
• Turn the screw (2) with the hexagonal wrench and observe the behavior of the foil.
In the
+ direction, the inner edge of the ink ribbon is tightened, and the outer edge is
tightened in the - direction.
The ink ribbon is correctly set up by default. The ink ribbon may only be adjusted in
exceptional cases.
The adjustment is best carried out during printing.
If the THERMOMARK X1.1 is operated with the cover open, ensure that clothing, hair,
jewelry or similar personal items do not come into contact with the exposed rotating
parts.
