Controlling Camera Movement
General
Camera positioning is controlled via an eight-way
joystick (four buttons on TC8551A and TC8554 type
keyboards) on the right hand side of the keyboard.
This joystick moves the camera pan/tilt, if equipped,
up, down, left, right or diagonally. To operate the
pan/tilt, use the following procedure:
1.
Move it left to pan the camera left.
2.
Move it right to pan the camera right.

4.

EXAMPLE: Pressing up and right simultaneously
will move the camera diagonally up and to the
right.
Lens Control
On the left side of the keyboard are the lens control
rocker switches. The camera's zoom lens, if
equipped, can be controlled to zoom in or out, focus
near or far, and open or close the iris (if the lens has
manual iris override capability). Lens control is
carried out by pressing the lens rocker switches in
one of two possible directions as follows:

Press ZOOM to zoom in or out (rotate the
joystick knob on TC8553 and TC8555 type
keyboards).
2.
Press FOCUS to focus far or near.
3.
Press IRIS to open or close the iris.

function of the lens type and wiring, but direction
can be reversed through a DIP switch change in
the receiver/driver if desired.
