Adjusting the feed mechanisms

Aligning the workholder bar

Rule

1. The sewing material should be clamped evenly along the entire length of the work-

holder bar

2. There should be a clearance of

0.5 mm

between the guide roller

and the workholder

bar when the workholder bar

(right fi nal position) is in home position.



Align the workholder bar

(screw

and nut

) according to

rule 1

Place the sewing material under the workholder bar and lower the workholder

bar to check the setting. It should be possible to pull out the sewing material

evenly from under the workholder bar along its entire length.



Adjust the workholder bar
