Note: Some combinations of sampling frequency and TE factor may result in too low a replay
sampling frequency. The minimum replay sampling frequency is 12.5 kHz and if the
requested replay sampling frequency is lower than that, an asterisk (*) will appear to the left
of the sampling frequency and the closest allowable sampling frequency will be used by the
D1000X. Please note that this will result in a different time expansion factor than the
expected. This only affects what is being played by the detector. The sound file on the CF
card is recorded with the correct sampling frequency.
Note: Any wav files copied from a PC onto the CF card have to follow the same name
convention as the other D1000X sound files, but with the prefix “P”, e.g. P00001.wav. The
D1000X will only accept “external” files with the name “Pxxxxx.wav”, where xxxxx is a 5
digit number. A CF card with "P" files (files copied from the computer to the card) and/or
play lists, should only contain this type of files and never M/C/H/F type files (files just
recorded with the D1000X).
