E) Group for total protection of moving parts and working area
It consists of two main structures, a front and a rear one made of steel sheet, assembled by
means of intermittent weld, which protect the working area and all other dangerous zones of
the machine (DWG. A1.1) . On this safety guard have been placed the following devices: in the
rear fixed part have been made two seats, one hosting the electrovalve-group for the control of
all pneumatic actuators. The other one hosts the two electronic cards, which control all the
machine functions. In the front openable part has been placed a control panel on which has
been fixed a terminal with keyboard and display, plus some control push buttons. Beside there
have been placed a manometer and a pressure regulator, which permit the adjustment and
control of the fusion pressure.
The front openable safety guard has also the aim to facilitate the access to the internal
components in case of maintenance work. This happens to be necessary, above all, to replace
the teflon film on the heating plate, operation that must be carried out many times as the teflon
film wears off very often because of its continuous contact with the profiles.
