It is made of aluminium and steel components and of pneumatic components (actuators)
connected by means of commercial bolts and nuts (DWG. A1.4). The device is fixed to the
base plate and is placed under the two profile holding surfaces: During the working cycle a part
of it moves upwards to reach a middle position between and above the two profile holding
surfaces. The positioning plate moves vertically with a lifting/lowering movement, which can be
obtained by means of bushes sliding on round section rods, pneumatically controlled by an
actuator. It can be easily replaced and together with other components permits to modify some
mechanical parameters of the welding process.

Group for movement of heating plate for fusion
It consists of aluminium and steel components, as well as pneumatic (actuator) and electric
components (heating plate) (DWG. A1.5). The device for the vertical movement of the heating
plate supports has been fixed on the base plate and placed in the rear left side, just behind the
holding surfaces and profile locking on the fixed side. The heating plate is positioned on the
contrary in a middle position between the working surfaces and the locking plates for the fixed
and for the movable side. The supports of the heating plate are two and are used to obtain a
vertical movement with a long stroke and an horizontal movement with a short stroke. The
lifting/lowering vertical movement is obtained by means of bushes sliding on round section
rods, controlled by a pneumatic actuator. The horizontal movement for plate centering is
obtained by means of linear ball-bushings, which slide always on round section rods.
