CONSTRUCTION OF OUTDOOR LIVING COMPONENTS WITH THE TANDEM MODULAR GRID

BRACING

Some items require bracing panels like plywood sheeting, especially
for privacy walls, fencing and deck skirting . These panels are needed
to strengthen the unit to withstand stress such as wind and to limit
distortion under regular loads .

Other units require the installation of fiber cement panels for
heat insulation (barbecues and outdoor gas fireplaces) or as protection
against moisture (flower boxes) . In these situations, we recommend
fiber cement panels of a minimum thickness of 12 mm (1/2") .
