General

The Remote Communication Package has been designed to operate on
PC’s within the Windows 95/98/2000/XP, NT 3.51/4 environment, utilising a
Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) server. The use of DDE means that the data
can be easily transferred to other packages supporting DDE.

Upto 31 dryers can be integrated into a single system, and as with the dryers
themselves the Remote Communication Package is based on a modular
concept, where additional units can be added as the network grows.

The dryers are provided with an industry standard RS485 connection,
communications are therefore possible for networks up to 1200m in length.

The protocol used is a proprietry multi-master protocol, which means that
any dryer connected to the network can initiate communication. A dryer can
therefore advise the system if there is a problem without needing to be
asked.

Remote communication is only possible with

PNEUDRI electronic

MPXE / DXE / DHE dryers operating with software version 3.3 or version
3.5 or MXA / MPXA dryers version 1.0 or higher.

Pneudri Electronic software version

Pneudri Electronic software version is displayed in the Inlet Temperature
Display at power up.

Pneudri MXA software version

After switch on, for the first ten seconds of operation all the symbols are
initially displayed, then the software version is shown which is of the form
PA_E1.0 which corresponds to version 1.0.

IMPORTANT

A network consisting of both Pneudri Electronic Dryers and MXA dryers is
possible.
