3.

Remote Communication Package Scope of Supply.

The Remote Communication Package consists of the following components: -

i)

Remote Communications Enclosure containing the Active Network Interface 
(ANI) and local power supply.

ii)

5-metre RS232 communication cable;

iii)

Multi485 DDE Server installation software

vii)

Mating sockets for the RS485 connections on dryers. 
(Seperate kit required for each dryer. Pneudri Electronic Units Only).

3.1 Exclusions

In addition to the above items, the following requirements, limitations and exclusions
should also be borne in mind: -

i)

The 

domnick hunter

DDE server has been designed to operate on a PC, 

within a Windows 95/98/2000/XP or NT 3.51/4 environment. 

Windows 3.1 is 

not  supported

.

N.B. 

The supply of the PC and Windows software is outside the 

domnick

hunter

scope of supply; i.e. it is the responsibility of the plant operator. 

N.B.

The supply and installation of all wiring forming the RS485 communication 

network between the dryers and the Remote Communications Enclosure is 
outside the 

domnick hunter

scope of supply, i.e. it is the responsibility of the 

plant operator.
