The monitor is designed to be used with a computer—either a PowerStation
or another computer running MS-DOS or Windows 98, NT 4.0, Embedded
NT, 2000, or XP. If you purchased a PowerStation with your monitor, your
complete PowerStation system is set up and ready for you to use once you
connect the components.
However, if you are connecting your monitor to another computer, you
need to complete the setup procedures described in this chapter, including:
how to connect the monitor to your computer, how to prepare the monitor
to work with your computer, and how to read and adjust the on-screen
display (OSD).
Connecting to a Non-display PowerStation
To connect your monitor to one of the non-display PowerStations,
complete the following steps:
1
Connect the 15-pin video cable to the Analog Video Input port on
both the monitor and the non-display PowerStation, see Figure 3-1.
2
Connect the 9-pin touchscreen cable to the Touchscreen port on the
monitor and to the COM2(B) communication port.
