NTRODUCTION

1

Thank you for purchasing a Parker Hannifin monitor. You can mount the 

monitor in a control enclosure or on an adjustable arm. It can be used with 

any model of the PowerStation industrial computer family or with other 

computers that run Windows

®

 operating systems.

This manual is for use with both the PHM monitor containing the Hampshire 

touchscreen controller, as well as the PM monitor containing the 

3M/Dynapro touchscreen controller. If you have purchased a PM monitor 

with a 3M/Dynapro controller, use the installation instructions in 

Appendix B : PM1 Monitor Installation of this manual. 

Using this Manual

This manual is designed to help you set up and use your Parker Hannifin 

monitor and is divided into the following chapters:

Chapter 1 - Introduction: Presents an overview of this manual, any 

other documentation provided with the monitor, and how to contact 

customer support services.

Chapter 2 - Installing the Monitor: Explains how to select an 

appropriate location for the monitor and how to install the monitor in a 

control enclosure.

Chapter 3 - Connecting to a Computer: Explains how to connect and 

properly set up the monitor to a computer.

Chapter 4 - Maintaining the Monitor: Explains how to install 

replacement parts and how to maintain the monitor.

Appendix A - Monitor Specifications: Describes the monitor’s 

specifications.

Appendix B - PM Monitor Installation: Describes the installation and 

setup of the PM1 monitors only.
