7 Packaging, transport and storage
7.1 Packaging
The machine is packaged and transported on a special wooden pallet upon
delivery.
7.2 Transport
Transportation in original packaging in accordance with 7.1:
The machine can be transported using a forklift truck.
Transportation without original packaging:
The Parflange ® 1025 can be carried by 2 people using the carrying handles at the
side. Safety boots must be worn!
7.3 Storage
The machine must be stored in closed dry rooms where it is protected from
mechanical damage.
Max. 80% relative humidity, non-condensing.
Ambient temperature: b5° and +45°C
The machine must be specially protected and packaged if stored for more than 14
days.
8 Installing the machine
The machine requires an installation area of approx. 670 mm x 390 mm.
A height of 840-930 mm is recommended for the foundation for the machine
installation location.
The machine must be examined for any transportation damage before it is
installed. The installation location must be suitable for the weight of the machine
and of the tools.
All machine connections (cables) must be laid in such a way that they do not give
rise to any tripping points.
The machine may only be operated in closed and dry areas.
The foundation should be level and even.
Suitable measures must be implemented in order to avoid environmental damage
when transporting machines with leaks.
