Sand and cover the vertical stabilizer.

Sand a 30 degree bevel on the trailing edge of the
horizontal stabilizer. Sand and cover the horizontal
stabilizer.

Join the elevator halves with a 3” piece of the
included 1/8” dowel, use the horizontal stabilizer to
ensure the elevators are spaced apart appropriately.
Sand and cover the elevators.

Use tape to join the elevators to the horizontal
stabilizer. Cut the covering from the slots in the
BOTTOM of the horizontal stabilizer and it to the
fuselage. Using the fuselage sides as a guide, cut and
remove the covering from the bottom of the stabilizer
where it meets the fuselage. Ensure the horizontal
stabilizer is straight and square to the fuselage and
glue in place.
