• Assume a posture in which the

upper body is upright (sitting or
lying with the upper body
raised).

• Connect the VORTEX tracheo-

stomy adapter and the
tracheostomy tube.

• Hold the VORTEX Tracheo as

shown in the illustration.

• Actuate the metered dose in-

haler at the start of a deep,
slow intake of breath.

• Hold your breath briefly.
